Sincona sale 35, lot 5247

This specimen was lot 5247 in Sincona sale 35 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"Lucerne, Viertelgulden (10 Schilling) 1725. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. (canton of Luzern, quarter gulden or ten schilling of 1725. Rare, Good very fine.)"

This type was struck 1725 only and is scarce. The next 10 schillings was issued in 1744. Three gulden made a thaler so this coin was one-twelfth of a thaler.
