This specimen was lot 22381 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $793.13. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Lubeck. 3 Mark, 1910-A. NGC PROOF-65 ULTRA CAMEO. Hard mirror fields with frosted cameo devices. Blast white and exceptionally attractive." This type was struck 1908-14. It is not rare but is stll triple the price of a common Wurttemberg three mark.

Recorded mintage: 33,000 + proofs.

Specification: 16.67 g, 0.900 fine silver, .479 troy oz ASW, 33 mm diameter.
