Künker sale 294, lot 4293

This specimen was lot 4293 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €160 (about US$216 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"REICHSSILBERMÜNZEN, HESSEN, Ernst Ludwig, 1892-1918. 3 Mark 1910. Polierte Platte, leicht berieben. (unified silver coinage, grand duchy of Hesse, Ernest Louis, 1892-1918, three mark of 1910, polished.)"

This one year type is somewhat scarce.

Recorded mintage: 200,000 + 500 proofs.

Specification: 16.67 g, 0.900 fine silver, 33 mm diameter.
