This specimen was lot 3684 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"LÜBECK, STADT, Dukat 1604, mit dem Abzeichen des Bürgermeisters Gotthard von Höveln. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Leicht gewellt, kl. Randfehler, kl. Kratzer, sehr schön. (Germany, city of Lubeck, ducat of 1604, with the badge of mayor Gotthard of Hoveln. Very rare, lightly bent, some rim defects and scratches, very fine.)"

This scarce type was struck 1603-09; note the three digit date.
