This specimen was lot 4011 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €1,700 (about US$2,225 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"LÜBECK, STADT. 1/2 Taler 1549. RR Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Lubeck, half thaler of 1549. Rare, very fine to extremely fine.)"
