This specimen was lot 1144 in Jean Elsen sale 143 (Brussels, December 2019), where it sold for €2,200 (about US$2,872 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ROCHEFORT, Comté, Jean Théodore de Löwenstein (1611-1644), AR 3 Kreuzer, s.d. D/ MONETA NOVA ARG ROK Trois écus posés en triangle, séparés par trois rameaux feuillus. R/ SVB VMBRA ALARVM TVARVM Aigle impériale éployée et couronnée, avec la valeur 3 sur la poitrine. Extrêmement rare Belle patine. Très Beau. (county of Rochefort, John Theodore of Lowenstein, 1611-44, undated silver three kreuzer. Obverse: three shields in a triangle, separated by three floriate branches; reverse: imperial eagle displayed, value on breast. Extremely rare, Very Fine.)"
