This specimen was lot 22636 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Las Vegas, August 2020), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Lippe-Detmold. 2-1/2 Groschen, 1860-A. Berlin Mint. Paul Friedrich Emil Leopold. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. Pop:1, with none graded finer by PCGS. A very attractive coin with bold strike, full luster, and no toning." This billon product of the Berlin mint accompanied a silber groschen (KM 265) and a thaler (Dav-725) struck the same year. The coinage for this tiny state ceased in that year,
