Kiangsu-Kiangsoo Province is located on the east coast of China. Modern mint equipment was installed in the Soochow mint in 1898, and another mint was opened in 1904. Both mints ceased production in 1906. The specimen shown was lot 21459 in Ponterio sale 165 (Hong Kong, April 2012), where it sold for $2689. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Kiangsu. 2 Cash Pattern, CD (1906). PCGS MS-64 Secure Holder. 丙午”蘇”字戶部大清銅幣二文。Struck in brass. 黃銅。 She Yim (Hap) Wong Collection."
