This specimen was lot 2216 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $2,115. The catalog description^[1] noted, "KASHMIR: AR rupee, Srinagar, VS1927. Third series, machine-struck with collar, VF to EF, ex Paul Stevens Collection." The SCWC lists this type for VS 1927 and VS 1928. Varieties exist (KM Y16a and Y16b), both more common than that shown here.
