This specimen was lot 57472 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "JAPAN. Sen, Year 34 (1901). Osaka Mint. Mutsuhito (Meiji). PCGS MS-65 Red." This type was struck 1898-1909 and is common in circulated condition. This weight standard was used until 1915.

Specification: 7.13 g, bronze, 27.9 mm diameter.
