This type was struck 1913-15 at the beginning of the Taisho era and was the last large cent. The succeeding type, KM Y42, was reduced to 3.75 g.

Recorded mintage: 15,000,000, a common date.

Specification: 7.13 g, bronze, 27.8 mm diameter.
