This specimen was lot 45125 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it sold for $55. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRELAND. Florin (2 Shillings), 1955. NGC MS-65. A sharply struck Florin, fully lustrous with dark gray to almond toning throughout." The first Irish florins (= two shillings), issued 1928-37, featured the obverse legend "SAORSTAT EIREANN"; the second (KM 15), issued 1939-43, merely stated "EIRE." Specification: 11.31 g, copper-nickel, 28.5 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM-15a.
