This specimen was lot 71101 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRELAND. "Ormonde" Shilling, ND (1643-44). Charles I (1625-49). PCGS Genuine--Damage, VF Details Secure Holder. Lords Justices coinage from the Great Rebellion. Most of devices visible including a nearly complete crown, a few light gouges in the weakest struck areas. Nice even dark gray toning, a presentable example of this crudely-made type." The crowns are the best known but none are common.
