The first specimen was lot 2705 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $390. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAQ: Republic, 250 fils, 1980/AH1400, 1st Anniversary of Hussein as President, lightly toned, NGC graded MS65." The second specimen was lot 72664 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2023), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[2] noted, "IRAQ. 250 Fil, AH 1400/1980. Llantrisant Mint. PCGS MS-66. Just one finer example certified by PCGS. This Gem displays with flashy luster with satin like surfaces. An overall enchanting piece." The SCWC does not list any proofs for this issue. This was issued early in Saddam Hussein's career, before he was denounced as a menace to humanity.
