This specimen was lot 57273 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $4,800. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAQ. 100 Dinars, AH 1400/1980. PROOF-63 Cameo. On the first anniversary of Saddam Hussein as President." The late and unlamented Saddam Hussein issued this self-glorifying NCLT along with a fifty dinars, one dinar and 250 fils.
