This specimen was lot 76507 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. Qajar Dynasty. Toman, AH 1267 (1850/51). Rasht Mint. Nasir al-Din Shah. NGC AU-58. Only displaying the lightest instances of handling and circulation, this Toman delivers charming appeal, with sharp strike quality and soft glowing appeal." This type was struck at Rasht AH 1266-1280, one of twelve mints to do so. One kran was one thousand dinars and one toman was ten krans.
