This specimen was lot 2732 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $53.55. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH INDIA: Edward VII, 1901-1910, AE ½ pice, 1910(c), NGC graded MS64 BR." This type was struck at Calcutta 1906-10 and replaced a copper type (KM 499) of 1903-06. There may have been a reduction in weight as well. A half pice was 1/128 of a rupee.
