This specimen was part of lot 1780 in Goldberg sale 112 (Los Angeles, September 2019), which for $1,260. The catalog description[1] noted, "Hungary. 50, 100 and 200 Forint, 1968-BP. Fr-624-626; KM-583, 585, 586. Total weight 0.8517 ounce. Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis. On the 150th anniversary of his birth. Head right. Reverse: Star above crest. Lot of 3 coins. PCGS graded 50 Forint Proof 68 Deep Cameo; 100 and 200 Forint PCGS graded both pieces Proof 67 Deep Cameo." Accompanying this issue is a 500 forint (KM 587, gold), 100 forint (KM 584, silver, and KM 585, gold) and 50 forint (KM 582, silver, and KM 583, gold).

Recorded mintage: 13,500, all proofs.

Specification: 16.82 g, 0.900 fine gold, 34 mm diameter.
