This specimen was lot 6751 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $423. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. Ducat, 1841. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. Eye catching with flashing luster throughout. Only kept from full mint state designation from mild bag marks in fields and the lightest brush of handling wear to the highest points of relief. From the Mezo-Toth Kalman Collection." This type of 1837-48 is noted as fairly common. Ducats were struck for Hungary as late as 1881.
