This specimen was lot 3941 in Stack's-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $793.13. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. Taler, 1778 B-SKPD. Maria Theresa (1740-80). Kremnitz Mint. NGC MS-64. A few light adjustment marks on Madonna. Bright and lustrous. Light golden toning and very attractive. From the Rockaway Collection." Hungary in 1778 was firmly under Austrian rule but was not part of the Empire. This type, struck 1777-80, is fairly common.
