This specimen was lot 75324 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 15 Kreuzers, 1676-KB. Kremnica Mint. Leopold I. PCGS MS-62. KM-175. An appealing nearly-Choice example, delivering rich brilliance and full strike details throughout." This type was struck at Kremnitz 1661-80. The thaler was in the mid-seventeenth century equal to ninety kreuzer, making this denomination one-sixth thaler. Fifteen kreuzers were also struck at Pressburg (KM 192), Nagybanya (KM 191), Vienna, Linz and Hall.
