This specimen was lot 4541 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,706 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Leopold I. 1657-1705. Reichstaler 1668, NB, Nagybánya. RR Feine Patina, kl. Zainende, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Austria, Leopold I, 1657-1705, thaler of 1668, Nagybánya mint. Very rare, fine patina, minor clip, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1667-69 and is very scarce. A rare octagonal klippe of this date exists (Dav-3271A).
