Hungary 1668-KB 10 ducats Fr-120
This specimen was lot 823 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Leopold I. 1657-1705. 10 Dukaten 1668 KB, Kremnitz. LEOPOLDVS (Madonna mit Kind).D:G.RO.I.S.AVG.GER. (gekröntes Wappen) HV.BOH.REX. Geharnischtes und belorbeertes Brustbild nach rechts mit umgelegtem Mantel und der Kette des Ordens vom Goldenen Vlies, am Armabschnitt Jahreszahl 1668. Rv. ARCHIDVX. AVS.DVX.BVR.MAR.MOR.CO.TY. Gekrönter Doppeladler mit Schwert und Zepter in den Fängen, auf der Brust gekröntes, vierfeldiges Wappen mit Mittelschild, unten zu den Seiten das Münzstättenzeichen K - B. Äusserst selten. Vorzüglich-FDC. Leicht berieben. (Holy Roman Empire, Leopold I, 1657-1705, ten ducats of 1668, Kremnitz mint. Obverse laureate, mantled and armored bust right with Order chain, date below; reverse crowned double headed eagle supporting quartered arms with an escutcheon, sword and scepter in its claws. This rare presentation piece was struck at the Kremnitz mint in Hungary using thaler dies.
