Hungary 1662-KB 3 krajczar
This specimen was lot 1696 in Jean Elsen sale 163 (Brussels, November 2025), where it sold for €75 (about US$87 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SAINT EMPIRE, Léopold Ier (1657-1705), AR 3 Kreuzer, 1662 KB, Kremnitz. Type hongrois. D/ B. l., dr. et cuir. à d. R/ La Madone à l'enfant sur une nuée. Rare. (Hpoly Roman Empire, Leopold I, 1657-1705, silver three kreuzer of 1662, Kremnitz mint, Hungarian type. Obverse: laureate, draped and armored bust right; reverse: Madonna and Child on a cloud. Rare, Very Fine.)"
This type was struck 1661-63. During Leopold's reign, the three kreuzer was one-thirtieth of a thaler.
