This specimen was lot 3404 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €2,600 (about US$3,504 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Rudolf II. 1576-1612. Dukat 1603, NB, Nagybánya. GOLD. R vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, ducat of 1603, Nagybánya mint. Scarce, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
The armored standing figure is not the emperor but of St. Ladislas holding a pike. This type is listed in the SCWC for 1600-08.
