Künker sale 406, lot 3817

This specimen was lot 3817 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,706 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Matthias, 1608-1612-1619. Dukat 1609, KB, Kremnitz. GOLD. R Gewellt, fast vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Matthias, 1608-1612-1619, ducat of 1609, Kremnitz mint. Rare, bent, about extremely fine.)"

Altho Friedberg lumps all the issues of 1613 under Fr-81, the SCWC notes two types: KM 37 issued 1609-13 with robe closed and KM 42 issued 1613-20 with robe open. The SCWC gives both the same price.
