This specimen was lot 34028 in Heritage sale 3106 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $4,800. The catalog description[1] noted, "Netherlands: Holland. Provincial gold 6 Stuivers 1762 MS62 NGC. A stunning rendition of this ever-popular off-metal gold issue struck to 2 Ducat specifications. Wholly appreciable when located in any comparable designation, here verified on the cusp of a Choice Mint State assignment. Ample flash and frost abound this survivor, which remains tied for the finest of this date at NGC, and as such is worthy of considerable interest." The regular billon Scheepjesschelling was struck 1701-05, 1708-37, 1745-54, 1759-63, 1767, while the gold version was struck 1702-03, 1709, 1722-84, 1789-94.
