This specimen was lot 71350 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Holland. Ducat, 1762. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. Well struck with soft satin luster. Slightly bent." This type was struck without change 1702-92 and is priced in the SCWC as a common date. Holland was the largest and wealthiest part of the United Provinces, now the kingdom of the Netherlands.
