This specimen was lot 479 in Schulman auction 379 (Amsterdam, June 2024), where it sold for €380 (about US$488 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLLAND Provincie 1581 - 1795. Dukaat. 1740, Gold Type IIb. Staande ridder met zwaard en 7 pijlen in bundel, zonder binnencirkel. Kz. vierkant met tekst MO: ORD: etc. Kabelrand. R Originele muntkleur. Prachtig +. (province of Holland, ducat of 1740, type IIb. Obverse: standing knight with plumed helmet with sword and bundle of arrows, no inner circle; reverse: tablet with inscription, cabled edge. Rare, original luster, choice extremely fine.)"

This denomination was struck in this style 1672-74, 1683-88, 1691-94, 1698-99, 1702-09, 1715-48.
