This specimen was lot 3943 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,440 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HESSEN, HESSEN-DARMSTADT, LANDGRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1806 GROSSHERZOGTUM. Ludwig VIII. 1739-1768. 6 Kreuzer 1759, Darmstadt. RR Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, landgraviate of Hesse-Darmstadt, Louis VIII, 1739-68, six kreuzer of 1759, Darmstadt mint. Rare, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This rare type is unpriced in the SCWC. Six kreuzer made 1/20 of a convention thaler.
