This specimen was lot 3393 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $142.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "HESSE-CASSEL: Friedrich II, 1760-1785, AR ½ thaler, 1776, initials BR, one-year type, EF." This example realized less than half of the catalog value.
