This specimen was lot 2527 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $95. The catalog description[1] noted, "HANOVER: George IV, 1820-1830, AR 1/24 thaler, 1826, a wonderful example, PCGS graded MS64." This type was struck 1826-28 for king George IV, who was also king of England (it is not recorded whether George IV ever set foot in his German domain) and was worth five kreuzer.
