This specimen was lot 56461 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 24 Mariengroschen (2/3 Taler), 1791-C. Clausthal Mint. Georg III (George III of Great Britain). PCGS MS-63." This type was struck 1761-1801 and is common. Similar coins include a "wild man" 24 mariengroschen (KM 347, struck 1762-84) and a 2/3 thaler (KM 365, portrait obverse, struck 1772-1800).
