Total AGW approx. 5.14 oz." While the Haitian people starved, the regime issued numerous silver and gold commemoratives which were issued to insiders and sold abroad. This NCLT, one of a series honoring famous Native Americans, commemorates Stalking Turkey (c.1710-c.1782) of the Cherokee in Tennessee. The design was also used on a gold 100 gourdes of 1971 (Fr-12).
