This specimen was part of lot 30912 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), which sold for $8,700. The catalog description[1] noted, "Haiti: Republic 5-Piece Uncertified gold Proof Set 1969-IC, 1) 30 Gourdes - Proof; 2) 40 Gourdes - Proof; 3) 60 Gourdes - Proof (Harshly Cleaned); 4) 250 Gourdes - Proof (Harshly Cleaned); 5) 500 Gourdes - Proof (Harshly Cleaned), KM 76; KM-PS5. Sold with original case and COA #585. Total AGW approximately 5.03 oz." The "IC" mintmark on the reverse is for the Italcambio mint in Italy.
