This specimen was lot 74548 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "HAITI. 10 Gourdes, 1969-IC. Italian (Arezzo) Mint. NGC PROOF-64 Ultra Cameo. General Toussaint L'Overture issue." While the Haitian people starved, the regime issued numerous silver and gold commemoratives which were issued to insiders and sold abroad. This NCLT honoring martyr Toussaint L'Ouverture was struck 1967-70.

Recorded mintage: 1,100 proofs.

Specification: 47.05 g, 0.999 fine silver, 40 mm diameter, reeded edge.
