This specimen was part of lot 30914 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), which sold for $. Total AGW approx. 5.14 oz." While the Haitian people starved, the regime issued numerous silver and gold commemoratives which were issued to insiders and sold abroad. This NCLT, one of a series honoring famous Native Americans, commemorates chief Playing Fox (fl. 1831) of the Fox Indians in Illinois. This type is so rare that the SCWC uses a drawing, not a photo. The design was also used on a silver ten gourdes of 1970 (KM 81).
