This specimen was lot 74008 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GUINEA. 200 Francs, 1970. ANACS PROOF-69. A beautiful and nearly-flawless example, delivering intense eye appeal, with soft brilliance and incredible rainbow toning throughout both sides." This NCLT was struck 1969-70 in honor of the martyred brothers John and Roberty Kennedy. This design was also used on a gold 1000 francs (KM 17).
