This specimen was lot 1909 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $2,142. The catalog description[1] noted, "GUATEMALA: Republic, AR 4 reales, 1893, assayer RG, large letters, cleaned, PCGS graded About Unc details." This type was struck 1873, 1878-79, 1892-93. It is scarce but this example realized 2½ times the catalog value.
