This specimen was lot 71431 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "GUATEMALA. 1/2 Real, 1893. NGC MS-65. Variety with large wreath and small date. An attractively toned Gem with sharp detail, even on the reverse scroll." This type was struck 1893 only and is fairly common. The regime struck other half reales in 1893, including KM 147a.2 (shield obverse) and KM 163 (seated liberty obverse, small wreath on reverse).
Recorded mintage: 360,000 (all varieties).
