This pillar eight reales was lot 684 in Cayón Subastas (Madrid, Feb 4, 2012), where it sold for 300 € (about US$466 plus buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Guatemala. 8 reales. 1760. P. Incisiones en rev. Limp. MBC+/MBC. Muy escasa. Acuñación póstuma. (Guatemala 8 reales 1760. Nicks on reverse, Cleaned, Very fine, Very scarce, Posthumous strike.)"
