This specimen was lot 2168 in Goldberg sale 106 (Los Angeles, September 2018), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Sixpence, 1926. George V. Modified effigy. PCGS graded MS-66." This type was struck 1926-27 in substantial numbers. It superseded a very similar type (KM 815a.2) with a slightly different bust of the king which had posed problems in obtaining a full strike. The reverse was redesigned in 1928.

Specification: 2.82 g, 0.500 fine silver, .045 troy oz ASW, 19.5 mm diameter.
