This specimen was lot 34088 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Edward VII gold Sovereign 1904 MS63 PCGS." This type was struck 1902-10 in considerable numbers and is the only sovereign for Edward VII.
Recorded mintage: 10,041,000, common.
Specification: 7.98 g, 0.917 fine gold.
