This specimen was lot 33133 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $384. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Edward VII Penny 1904 MS65 Red PCGS. Radiant surfaces and an enviable strike make this a prime example of the type." This penny was struck 1902-10 in large numbers. The 1902 is not the highest mintage date but is the most common in uncirculated condition, suggesting that many were saved.

Recorded mintage: 12,913,000, a better date.

Specification: 9.45 g, bronze, 30.5 mm diameter.
