This specimen was lot 37163 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, 1867. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-64. Die # 14 below wreath." This type was struck 1838-87 in large quantities and several subtypes. For 1867, shillings come with (KM 734.2) and without the die number (KM 734.3) on the reverse.
Recorded mintage: 2,166,100 (all varieties).
Specification: 5.65 g, 0.925 fine silver, 23.5 mm diameter.
