This specimen was lot 74817 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1-1/2 Pence, 1860. London Mint. Victoria. PCGS MS-63. Muted gold and russet toning peers from beneath the overall moderate gray patina on satiny lustrous surfaces. A pleasing example of the type." This three-halfpence was struck for circulation in Jamaica and Ceylon 1838-43 and 1860-62. The denomination never appeared in Maundy sets and has not been struck since.
