This specimen was lot 2560 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Victoria, 1837-1901. 1/2 Sovereign 1851, London. Young head. Sehr schön. (kingdom of Great Britain, Victoria, 1837-1901, half sovereign of 1851, London mint, young head type. Very fine.)"
This type was struck in substantial quantities 1838-85 yet choice specimens are few.
Recorded mintage: 774,000, a slightly better date.
