This specimen was lot 31122 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $1,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "George I gold Guinea 1715 VF35 PCGS. A circulated specimen with moderate wear flattening George's bust, yet remaining appealing with creamy original surfaces, a deep yellow planchet and considerable sharp detail remaining within the legends. From the Lake County Collection." The SCWC divides the guineas of 1715 into KM 542 (shown here) and KM 543, with a slightly different hair style. Both are in Friedberg as Fr-327.
