This specimen was lot 51669 in Heritage sale 3000 (New York, January 2009), where it sold for $431.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "William III Sixpence 1700, MS64 PCGS, lightly toned with some attractive green highlights on the reverse." This type was struck 1697-1701 at London and various branch mints. This specimen is from London and is catalogued as the third bust of William III. Despite its short run, many varieties exist; Lobel et al[2] list over 69.

Specification: 2.8-3.1 g, 0.925 silver, 21 mm diameter.
