This specimen was lot 75521 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, 1691/0. London Mint. William & Mary. PCGS AU-58. Overdate variety. From the Richard August Collection." The silver pennies of William and Mary were struck 1689-94 in two varieties; KM 468.1, with the continuous obverse legend, struck 1689 only, and KM 468.2, with the interrupted obverse legend (shown here).
